- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis to identify first-mover advantages in emerging sectors
- Develop patent strategies and IP portfolios protecting proprietary innovations
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor technical teams in agile methodologies for rapid prototyping
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and venture partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in launching at least 2 breakthrough tech products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in emerging tech trends: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or sustainable tech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Strong network within IEEE, ACM, or similar professional organizations
- Proficiency in strategic frameworks like Porter's Five Forces and PESTLE analysis
- Certification in Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred
