Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026 technology roadmap, aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, neural interfaces) for commercial viability
- Develop ethical frameworks for AI deployment and autonomous systems
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on next-gen human-computer interaction research
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (Master's with exceptional experience)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products ($500M+ revenue impact)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, or similar)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing and neural network architectures
- Speaker at TED, Web Summit, or equivalent tech conference
