Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy aligned with market evolution and company vision for 2026
- Identify and assess emerging technologies (quantum, AI, AR/VR, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry disruption and competitive threats
- Create scenario-planning models for technological convergence and regulatory landscapes
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor global tech policy developments and advocate for innovation-friendly frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, product development, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of anticipating tech trends (demonstrated in past strategy documents)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, or sustainable tech)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Futures preferred
- Experience building technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic recommendations implemented with measurable impact
