Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with company's 10-year vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for next-gen technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive board and secure innovation funding
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global tech leaders
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption horizon
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies ($100M+ impact)
- Expertise in at least 3 of: quantum computing, AI ethics, bio-engineering, or climate tech
- Advanced degree (PhD/MBA) from top-tier institution or equivalent experience
- Deep network within Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Certified in Future Foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi)
