Responsibilities
- Architect scalable frameworks for emerging technologies including quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized AI
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and validate future technology applications
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with market needs for 2026+
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with transformative potential
- Design ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine collaboration
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into commercial solutions
- Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology architecture or R&D leadership with proven track record in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, AI ethics, blockchain, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (PhD preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- Experience leading global, cross-functional teams in agile development environments
- Deep understanding of ethical implications and societal impact of emerging technologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
