Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, Web3, biotech) for strategic implementation
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and startups for technology scouting
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board with data-driven impact analyses
- Monitor global tech policies and regulatory shifts affecting innovation strategies
- Mentor junior strategists and build a culture of technological curiosity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching futuristic technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders
- Certifications in strategic planning or emerging tech (e.g., CTO Academy, SingularityU) a plus
