Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercial viability
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps for quantum computing, Web4.0, and biotech convergence
- Conduct competitive analysis and market positioning for emerging tech solutions
- Partner with engineering teams to validate prototype feasibility and scalability
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible innovation deployment
- Manage annual $2M innovation budget for pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting
- Proven expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends (IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology adoption curve modeling
- Strong background in AI ethics and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Track record of launching at least three commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
