Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies
- Analyze global tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech) for competitive advantage
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future technologies into business strategy
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and industry stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental projects
- Drive innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, sustainable energy)
- Track record of launching commercialized tech innovations
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping methodologies
