Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.) to develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and market readiness assessments for emerging tech
- Develop intellectual property strategies and patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Manage partnerships with academic institutions and industry consortia for R&D collaboration
- Establish KPIs and frameworks to measure technology adoption and ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, IoT, or blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Track record of launching futuristic products or research initiatives
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in market forecasting and scenario planning
- Strong executive presence and ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
