Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap for emerging domains including quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions with 3+ year commercialization horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify paradigm-shifting technologies
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups in emerging tech ecosystems
- Present technology vision to C-suite executives and external stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Mentor a team of 8+ engineers and researchers in future-focused methodologies
- Secure and manage R&D budgets exceeding $5M for experimental technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technologies with published research or patents
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards of directors
- Strong background in ethical technology frameworks and responsible innovation
- Experience managing global R&D teams across multiple time zones
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
