Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and assess commercial viability for 2026 market entry
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven insights
- Manage partnerships with tech startups, research institutions, and industry consortia
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory shifts affecting 2026 technology adoption
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership within tech-forward industries
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends and translating them into market opportunities
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, quantum computing, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
- Strong executive presence and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation management
