Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps for 2026 market readiness
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and integrate futuristic technologies into core business processes
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions in controlled sandbox environments
- Develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies for technological adoption, including ethical frameworks and compliance protocols
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members using data-driven visualizations
- Establish KPIs to measure the ROI of future technology investments and track adoption metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or innovation management, with 3+ years focused on future tech horizons (2025+)
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or decentralized systems
- Proven track record of launching tech initiatives that generated $10M+ in new revenue streams
- Certification in Futures Thinking methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Technology Roadmapping)
- Experience with ethical AI governance frameworks and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with demonstrated success influencing C-suite executives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (MBA preferred)
