Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech integration) for commercial viability and strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology adoption ROI and innovation impact
- Manage a $5M+ annual innovation budget and vendor ecosystem
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or corporate innovation roles
- Proven track record developing multi-year tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing innovation budgets
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex tech concepts to diverse audiences
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Experience with agile innovation methodologies and portfolio management
