Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Build and lead a specialized future technologies R&D team
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging tech
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Track record of scaling innovative technologies from concept to commercialization
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies and patent analysis
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or strategy journals
