Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-5-year technology strategy aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, advanced AI)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough innovations with commercial potential
- Partner with product teams to integrate future tech into scalable solutions
- Present strategic roadmaps to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption ROI and innovation pipeline efficiency
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching tech products from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing)
- Experience with technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate tech potential into revenue models
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals or major conferences
