Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence) to identify strategic opportunities through 2026
- Develop technology roadmaps aligning with market forecasts and consumer behavior projections
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering, design, and commercial teams to translate vision into actionable plans
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring tech adoption impact and ROI on innovation investments
- Represent company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership in IEEE and Nature journals
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining cutting-edge expertise through continuous learning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic tech planning with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, neurotech, etc.)
- Published research or patents in future technologies with 500+ citations
- Experience building innovation frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Proficiency in trend forecasting tools (Gartner, CB Insights) and scenario modeling
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
