Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and assess strategic implications
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation projects
- Build executive presentations communicating complex technological futures to stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for cutting-edge insights
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption and strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate technological trends
- Strong analytical skills using scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Experience presenting complex futures to C-suite audiences and influencing strategic decisions
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futures Studies preferred
