Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for quantum AI, biotech interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging tech trends (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies with commercial viability
- Partner with venture capital to identify and acquire disruptive startups
- Present technology futures to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build ethical frameworks for next-gen autonomous systems
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate AI
- Proven track record of launching products with $100M+ revenue impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 500+ engineers
- Certification in Technology Foresight (WFS/TFP)
- Portfolio of 3+ commercialized futuristic technologies
