Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Design innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and pilot testing of future technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage cross-functional teams executing next-gen technology initiatives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory impacts on future tech adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven experience developing technology roadmaps for 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, bioengineering, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex tech concepts into business strategies
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M
- Certification in Technology Innovation Management (TIM) preferred
- Published thought leadership in emerging technologies
