Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year roadmaps for emerging technologies including AI ethics frameworks and quantum applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams prototyping breakthrough innovations
- Analyze market trends and competitor landscapes to identify first-mover advantages
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on joint technology incubation projects
- Drive patent strategies for proprietary technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, or clean energy)
- Proven track record of launching category-defining products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and futures forecasting methodologies
- Strong network in global tech innovation ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
