Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and autonomous system validation
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and integrate emerging startups into our innovation portfolio
- Present future-tech scenarios to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Drive sustainability initiatives in tech lifecycle management and circular economy implementation
- Mentor junior futurists and organize hackathons for 2026 technology prototyping
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and anticipate regulatory impacts on innovation pipelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technology forecasting
- Proven experience with quantum computing, neural networks, or synthetic biology commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology (PhD preferred)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 tech journals
- Strong understanding of EU AI Act, US CHIPS Act, and global tech governance
- Experience building innovation labs with $5M+ annual budgets
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or Q#) and ML frameworks
- Certification in Technology Foresight (TFI) or equivalent
