As a key member of our R&D leadership team, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and startup incubators to build a 5-year technology roadmap. You'll translate complex trends into actionable business strategies while ensuring ethical and sustainable implementation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) and assess commercial viability for 2026 market integration
- Develop and present technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders with clear ROI projections
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory impacts on future tech adoption
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and tech scouting programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven track record of launching at least two 5-year+ tech transformation initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, etc.)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to C-level audiences
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (e.g., IEEE, Harvard Business Review)
