Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy aligned with market evolution and emerging trends
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain partnerships with leading research institutions and tech incubators
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for disruptive technology shifts
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property portfolio development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, or advanced biotech
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Master's degree in relevant field (MBA, Computer Science, Engineering) preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
