- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging threats and opportunities
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready technologies into current development cycles
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational vision with technological capabilities
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on industry transformation
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory shifts impacting future innovation landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futures research within tech/consulting sectors
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Published research or patents in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., AC/FS or equivalent) preferred
- Experience leading cross-continental tech strategy initiatives
