Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry disruption scenarios
- Build financial models for tech adoption ROI and risk mitigation
- Publish thought leadership reports on future tech trends
- Partner with R&D to incubate moonshot projects
- Advise C-suite on tech investment decisions for 2026 ecosystem
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic tech planning, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR)
- Proven ability to translate complex tech concepts into business strategy
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technologies
- MBA or advanced degree in CS, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Strong network with venture capital and academic research institutions
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
