Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and company vision
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum computing)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology adoption and risk mitigation
- Mentor junior strategists and foster innovation culture across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of successfully launching disruptive tech products
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or decentralized systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience building cross-functional innovation teams and managing budgets >$1M
- Certification in emerging tech (e.g., TensorFlow, AWS Quantum) preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major industry conferences
