Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and company vision
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology) for commercial viability and competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Create predictive models for technological disruption and regulatory impacts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Mentor junior strategists and build future-focused innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and driving commercial innovation
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning tools
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation journals
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CEH, CISSP)
