Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech integration) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Build strategic partnerships with tech incubators, research institutions, and industry pioneers
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technology adoption across global markets
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the board of directors
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or advanced R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in future forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, etc.)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, biotech)
- Executive-level communication with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or futures research
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
