Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, spatial web)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused prioritization
- Foster partnerships with leading research institutions and tech incubators
- Drive adoption of sustainable tech practices across product development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business required
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI governance, blockchain ecosystems, AR/VR, or biotech integration
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, CFTE) preferred
- Experience managing global innovation teams across multiple time zones
- Prior success in securing government grants for R&D initiatives
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and scenario modeling
