- Analyze emerging market trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to translate breakthrough research into scalable business strategies
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors and executive stakeholders with data-driven impact projections
- Mentor junior strategists in future-scanning methodologies and innovation management
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven 5+ year foresight track record
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or biotech convergence
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex digital transformation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy (patents/articles a plus)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from foresight organizations) strongly preferred
