Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and regulatory frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neuro-interfaces, carbon-negative tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats/opportunities in biotech, space tech, and decentralized systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech consortia
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and board stakeholders with data-driven recommendations
- Drive adoption of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable development practices
- Mentor junior technologists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Published thought leadership on technological forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience scaling technologies from concept to global deployment
- Certification in emerging tech (e.g., AWS Quantum, Google AI Ethics) required
- Demonstrated ability to secure multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
