Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026+ technology initiatives, aligning with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify high-impact opportunities
- Develop and implement innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and validation of future concepts
- Partner with R&D to prioritize resource allocation for next-generation product development
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Build and lead a cross-functional team of futurists, engineers, and domain experts
- Monitor global tech policy and ethical implications to ensure responsible innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with proven experience in emerging tech adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, etc.)
- Track record of launching disruptive products or services in Fortune 500 settings
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong leadership background managing cross-functional innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in tech strategy or future studies (preferred)
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFIP) a plus
