Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable innovation
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies with real-world applications
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic technology recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for cutting-edge research
- Quantify ROI projections for next-gen technology investments
- Champion responsible innovation frameworks in all technology deployments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 2026+ planning experience
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, or biotech convergence
- Track record of translating technical concepts into business-critical roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech innovation ecosystems
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation portfolios
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
