- Manage $5M+ R&D portfolio for next-gen prototype development
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present future tech forecasts to executive board and investor committees
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering
- Published research in quantum algorithms or neural network architectures
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong network with DARPA, NASA, or MIT Media Lab connections
- Experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 100+ engineers
