Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, neuromorphic chips) and develop 2026 implementation roadmaps
- Partner with C-suite to align technology investments with long-term business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Champion sustainability initiatives in tech development and lifecycle management
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing product architectures
- Present strategic technology forecasts to investors and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, or bio-integrated systems
- Proven track record of launching technology initiatives with 3+ year horizons
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with technology focus
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (IEEE, ACM, or similar)
- Experience building tech ethics frameworks and responsible AI guidelines
- Strong proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
