Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ market landscapes
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive stakeholders across 5+ industries
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) with commercial viability
- Design innovation pipelines integrating sustainability and ethical considerations
- Present future trend briefings to investors and board members quarterly
- Build and mentor a futurist research team of 3-5 specialists
- Author white papers on 2026 industry disruption vectors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (minimum 3 peer-reviewed works)
- Proficiency in futures research tools (horizon scanning, Delphi methods, causal layered analysis)
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams in virtual and physical environments
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent preferred
