This role blends foresight research, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership to position our organization at the forefront of innovation.
As a key member of our Future Intelligence Unit, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global partners to translate foresight into actionable roadmaps. Your work will directly influence product development, market positioning, and organizational resilience in an era of exponential change.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts (2026-2030)
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align teams on future opportunities and risks
- Produce high-impact trend reports and innovation roadmaps for board-level presentations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to expand foresight capabilities
- Drive implementation of future-proofing initiatives across product development and operations
- Mentor junior futurists and build a culture of anticipatory innovation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (Master's required, PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate futurism
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate innovation
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with futures methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
