Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps with 5-year strategic planning horizons
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology) for market disruption potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and design teams
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author thought leadership publications on sustainable tech futures
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or technology consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting preferred
- Published research on 4IR or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Experience with global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Shenzhen, Berlin)
