Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Create strategic foresight reports and scenario planning models for 2026-2030
- Lead client workshops translating future trends into innovation roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Build and curate a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic pioneers
- Develop proprietary methodologies for predicting technological adoption curves
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate foresight into commercial strategy
- Author thought leadership pieces published in industry journals and conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D strategy
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in ambiguous environments
- Published author or speaker at global innovation conferences (SingularityU, WEF)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi methods, system dynamics)
