Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, neurotech) through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product innovation across healthcare, mobility, and sustainability sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster design thinking and rapid prototyping of future-concept solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry think tanks
- Present future-state insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Oversee incubation of moonshot projects with $2M+ annual innovation budget
- Produce annual 'Future State' whitepapers positioning company as thought leader
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation with proven impact on future-facing initiatives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi Method) and scenario modeling
- Portfolio of successfully commercialized future-oriented products or services
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (Generative AI, biotech, AR/VR, climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience delivering keynotes at global conferences
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
- Certification in Futures or Strategic Foresight preferred
