Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology and societal shifts
- Develop and maintain innovation roadmaps aligned with emerging AI, quantum computing, and biotech advancements
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation for future disruptions
- Translate future insights into product development strategies and go-to-market frameworks
- Build and manage an ecosystem of external futurists, academic partners, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic foresight findings to board members and investors with compelling visual narratives
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in AI/ML, synthetic biology, or quantum computing applications
- Certification in scenario planning (e.g., WFS, FSF) or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into stakeholder narratives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through transformational change
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation frameworks
- Deep understanding of global sustainability and climate resilience trends
