Responsibilities
- Architect comprehensive 2026 innovation roadmaps spanning AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts through rapid experimentation cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for future-tech R&D
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical governance of emerging technologies
- Present visionary blueprints to C-suite executives and board members for strategic alignment
- Monitor global tech trends and disruptors to maintain competitive advantage
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in corporate innovation or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record developing and implementing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience delivering executive-level strategic briefings
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (IEEE, Harvard Business Review)
- Certification in Futures Studies (CFP) or equivalent professional credential
