Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to develop 5-year strategic foresight roadmaps
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership, identifying opportunities and risks through 2026
- Design and implement innovation frameworks integrating sustainability, ethical AI, and human-centric design principles
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-forward solutions aligned with market evolution
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry conferences
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track adoption of strategic initiatives across business units
- Mentor cross-functional teams in foresight methodologies and innovation best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Certification in futures research or innovation management (e.g., CFIP, CIP)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementation with measurable ROI
