Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends, market signals, and socio-economic indicators to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions with engineering and product teams
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers through curated symposia and thought leadership
- Translate complex foresight insights into actionable business strategies for executive decision-making
- Author influential whitepapers and thought leadership content on the future of work, AI ethics, and sustainable innovation
- Monitor and evaluate foresight program effectiveness using KPIs like trend prediction accuracy and strategic adoption rates
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent field
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research with Fortune 500 clients
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills to communicate complex future scenarios
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight certification program)
