Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) and translate insights into actionable strategic frameworks
- Develop and maintain scenario-planning models for 2026-2030 horizons
- Partner with R&D to identify disruptive technologies with commercial potential
- Lead executive workshops on future-proofing operations and innovation pipelines
- Quantify future market opportunities using predictive analytics and trend mapping
- Author thought leadership on emerging paradigms for industry publications
- Build and curate an external network of futurists and domain experts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology strategy roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFMP, CFP) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-strategy implementations
