Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to forecast 2026+ market disruptions
- Develop scenario roadmaps for clients in tech, healthcare, and energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional foresight workshops with executive stakeholders
- Author predictive white papers published in top-tier industry journals
- Design and implement Horizon's proprietary HorizonScan⢠early-warning system
- Advise board members on existential risk mitigation and opportunity capture
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodology and trend synthesis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight publications
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven ability to translate complex foresight into executive-level strategy
- Experience advising C-suite on 5-10 year strategic horizons
