Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and systemic risks for 2026+ initiatives
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations translating complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Partner with R&D and product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into innovation pipelines
- Establish KPIs and metrics to validate strategic foresight effectiveness and ROI
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business Analytics, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or innovation with demonstrable futures projects
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Proven ability to influence executive decision-making through compelling narratives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
- Portfolio showcasing future-focused projects or published thought leadership
