- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership, translating complex data into actionable strategic initiatives
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on ethical AI governance and post-quantum security protocols
- Manage a $2M innovation budget, allocating resources to breakthrough R&D projects with 10+ year ROI horizons
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and government agencies (DARPA, NSF) for future-tech collaboration
- Mentor a team of 5 futurist analysts, fostering next-generation strategic thinking capabilities
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 or venture-backed startups
- Proven track record of successfully launching products/services based on emerging tech predictions (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field; PhD strongly preferred
- Deep expertise in technology adoption lifecycle modeling and cross-industry convergence analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for diverse stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurist journals or top-tier business publications (Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, Cross-Impact Matrix)
