Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neuromorphic AI
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating futuristic concepts into commercial prototypes
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and Fortune 500 innovators
- Develop patent strategies and intellectual property portfolios for breakthrough technologies
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses to anticipate paradigm shifts in global technology landscapes
- Present futuristic technology visions to C-suite executives and venture capital stakeholders
- Mentor next-generation talent in exponential thinking and disruptive innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum machine learning, bio-integrated interfaces, AGI safety)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Prior experience with technology foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi studies, scenario planning)
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on future technologies or innovation strategy
- Fluency in strategic visualization tools (e.g., System Dynamics modeling, Agent-Based Simulations)
- Certification in Exponential Technology Management preferred
