Responsibilities
- Conduct legislative research and policy analysis for client projects
- Monitor congressional hearings and markups for key developments
- Assist in drafting advocacy materials and position statements
- Support stakeholder outreach and coalition building efforts
- Track federal regulations and agency actions affecting client interests
- Attend industry briefings and congressional events
- Support social media and newsletter content creation
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Interest in government affairs, public policy, or political science
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work 20-30 hours per week during academic terms
- Available for summer (June) or fall (September) start date
